Hi, I’m Emma! I am a twenty-something bookworm who loves to play the ukulele and always looks for the adventure in life. Sometimes you find the adventure, and sometimes the adventure finds you. It’s all about perspective…and having good friends to bail you out of sticky situations. (Besides, it’s good story material!)

Three quick facts about me are: I love old TV shows, with my favorite being The Dick Van Dyke Show. (Pretty sure I have the show memorized.) I enjoy building Lego sets with my husband. (Marvel sets are my favorite.) I drink milk and Pepsi. (Yes, together. I know, it’s weird.)

I’m passionate about encouraging others through devotionals or Bible-study type posts, but I also love to write poems and novels. In 2018 I released my first contemporary young adult novel, Mrs. Willows, which you can find here!

Above all, I love Jesus. Over the years I’ve learned time and again that Jesus truly does give us abundant life. Sometimes He leads me where I didn’t expect, but that is where some of God’s greatest blessings are. It’s a majestic adventure.
